Arbor Day – FREE Community Celebration!

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd for one of the biggest community events of the year at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd, Minnesota.

Free trees. $500 in prizes. A full day of family fun.

This FREE, family-friendly event is packed with activities and a great way to experience everything the Arb has to offer.

• Free tree saplings to take home

• Food available for purchase from Momma D’s Food Truck – Dunmire’s Bar & Grill

• Live reptiles from Ectothermic Nirvana

• Meet local Author & Life Coach Lisa Cassman (book readings at 12:00 & 1:00 in the Nature Playscape)

• Books available from Wandering Raven Mobile Book Store

• Free used bikes (while supplies last) from the The Brainerd Baxter Youth Center – The Shop

• Community scavenger hunt with $500 in cash prizes sponsored by Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union

• Interactive booths from local organizations including WonderTrek Children’s Museum, Organic Roots Schoolhouse, The Crossing Arts Alliance, Crow Wing County Master Gardeners, Brainerd Lakes Area MN Master Naturalists, Team Ascension Combat Sports & Gymnastics, Central Lakes College Natural Resources, and more

• Bike Park and Nature Playscape open for everyone to explore
