Annual Memberships
Individual Membership $30 Allows a single individual all the benefits of membership. One membership card and window sticker are provided. Any additional visitors will be required to pay the $5 gate fee.

Dual Membership $40 Allows two individuals all the benefits of membership. Two membership cards and two window stickers are provided. Any additional visitors will be required to pay the $5 gate fee.

Dual +2 Membership $50 Allows two individuals all the benefits of membership. Two membership cards and two window stickers are provided. Two additional visitors are allowed on each visit free of charge.

Student Membership $15 With proof of enrollment, allows student all the benefits of membership. Perfect for athletes that need open space to practice distance running or exercise on their own. One membership card and one window sticker are provided. Any additional visitors will be required to pay the $5 gate fee.

Dog Membership $5 Dogs are welcome at the Arb as long as they are on a leash. Dog memberships allow us to provide waste bags at the Arb free to you. Owners must be current members. Your pup will receive a treat bag upon a new or renewed membership.
All Memberships are for 12 months and include:
- Support of the Northland Arboretum’s education, recreation, and conservation efforts and maintenance of facilities and grounds.
- Use of our Arboretum grounds 365 days a year
- Quarterly magazine and monthly e-newsletter
- Discounts on classes, rentals and programs
- Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP) which allows you to visit over 300 arboretums and gardens at no admissions with membership card. http://ahsgardening.org/gardening-programs/rap/find/statebystate
Annual memberships are for patrons who have a Brainerd lakes address at least 5 months out of the calendar year.
Business Membership Program
This is your opportunity to give a gift to the Arboretum and also to give a gift to your employees. All businesses receive a Quarterly ArbLIFE magazine, monthly e-newsletter, invitation to an Annual Membership event, and are advertised on our website as local supporters.
Membership Levels:
- Little Sprout Membership ($100) For businesses between 1-2 employees (or sole proprietors). You will receive 1-2 employee discount cards for membership, 2 membership cards, and 50% discount on one business event room rental*.
- Sapling Membership ($250) For businesses between 3-10 employees. You will receive 3-10 employee discount cards for membership, 2 membership cards, 25% discount on one room rental*, and 50% discount on one business event room rental*.
- Poplar Membership ($500) For businesses between 11-20 employees. You will receive 11-20 employee discount cards for membership, 3 membership cards, 30% discount on one room rental*, 50% discount on one business event room rental*, and 2 FREE admissions to the Haunted Trail event (October 15th-17th)
- Jack Pine Membership ($1,000) For businesses between 21-40 employees. You will receive 21-40 employee discount cards for membership, 4 membership cards, 50% discount on one room rental*, one FREE business event room rental*, 2 FREE dog memberships, and 4 FREE admissions to the Haunted Trail event (October 15th-17th)
- Mighty Oak Membership ($2,500) For businesses above 41 employees. You will receive 41+ employee discount cards for membership, 4 membership cards, one FREE room rental*, one FREE business event room rental*, 5 FREE dog memberships, and 6 FREE admissions to the Haunted Trail event (October 15th-17th)
* Room rentals exclude weddings. Events at the Arboretum are booked on a first-come-first served basis. Please check with the Arboretum before planning your meeting or event.

Photographers
Professional photographers are encouraged to sign up for a Little Sprout Membership under Business Membership. This will allow you, as the photographer, to use our grounds freely and allow your clients in at no charge to them. The gate fees are waived with your business membership.
As with most venues, there is an additional, yet reasonable, $50 photography and filming fee on top of the membership. This is a one-time fee that can be paid at the same time as your membership. For the rest of the year you may have as many photo shoots as you desire.
Not interested in a business membership but still want to do a one-time photo shoot? Arb members with an Individual, Dual, or Dual+ membership may still conduct photo shoots at a $25 per shoot rate. This option is perfect for amateur photographers or those that want to take annual family photos on the grounds.
If you are a professional photographer and do not have any type of membership, you will be allowed to conduct a photo shoot at a $50 per shoot rate.
*Please note the use of drones are not allowed at the Northland Arboretum without prior approval and proof of permit.
