Why graft apple trees?
Grafting UMN Apple tree cultivars and hardy root stock developed for our growing zone provides long lived apple trees that grow well in the Northland, and provide delicious fruit grown in your backyard! Grafting workshop includes basic fruit tree biology, grafting methods and hands on grafting, post grafting pre-bud break care, with post planting culture. A follow up workshop will be scheduled in the future to educate grafters/growers in proper pruning of their apple trees to maximize tree health and fruit production.
Pre-registration is required - Space is limited so register early.
